Mutinská, Lucie ; Vařeková, Jitka (advisor) ; Kovařovic, Vojtěch (referee)
Title: Compensatory foot arch exercises for athletes under the age of 18 Objectives: The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to examine the effect of compensatory exercises on the shape and function of the foot arch in athletes under the age of 18. Method: In a quantitative empirical study in the form of a quasi-experiment, a group of performance athletes from track and field sports club ASK Dipoli z.s (n = 10, 6 girls, 4 boys) underwent a 2-month intervention program to support the foot arch. Separate exercises for activating and stabilising the foot arch took place 3 times a week for 10 minutes. In the data collection, diagnostic tests, biomedical and physical measurements related to the foot arch were used in both the pre-test and post-test: aspection, palpation, evaluation of leg stabilization, anthropometric data regarding the foot arch, evaluation of the foot printed on paper, and other specific tests. Using the Excel software, the results were recorded and statistically processed at the level of comparison of values between each test. Results: As a result of the intervention, 2 of the 10 probands experienced changes in leg stabilization, which was assessed with a test by standing on 1 leg. All 10 probands experienced foot-shaped changes: the foot posture index (100%) test in particular showed...

Title: The effect of the compensation program on the reduction of muscle imbalances for football players U17 and U19 Objectives: The objective of this study is to design and test the effect of a set of compensatory exercises for U17 and U19 soccer players that will lead to a reduction in muscle imbalances. Methods: The theoretical part used content analysis of documents and other scientific publications discussing muscle imbalances in football players. In the practical part, an entrance diagnosis was performed to detect muscle imbalances. In the practical part of the study 38 players (boys) of the U17 and U19 category of the MFK Chrudim football club were included. Both categories (U17 and U19) were divided into two groups, the intervention group and the control group. The probands were tested with a standardized protocol according to the muscle test according to Janda (2004). The rating scales were also taken from these tests. Furthermore, the testing was completed with tests according to Kolar (2009), focusing on the deep stabilization system (diaphragm test, intra-abdominal pressure test) and joint mobility of the lower limbs in the form of a deep squat test. Other tests used were the Thomayer test, deep- seated forward bending according to the test battery: the Unifittest (6-60), and an...
Physiotherapy of the musculoskeletal disorders in artistic gymnasts
TOMASCHKO, Lukáš
This bachelor thesis deals with disorders of the musculoskeletal system in artistic gymnasts and the possibilities to influence them with physiotherapy. The preparation of artistic gymnasts begins at a very early age when the body is not yet sufficiently developed. Due to early specialisation and excessive load, disorders of the musculoskeletal system may arise. Within physiotherapy, these disorders can be solved and, to some extent, prevented. The aim of the thesis was to find out what disorders of the musculoskeletal system selected artistic gymnasts suffer and to choose appropriate therapy. Other aim was to find out how to prevent frequent functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system in artistic gymnasts. In the theoretical part, artistic gymnastics, its history, the specifics of training and the system of competitions are characterized. Other chapters deal with functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system and their chaining, muscle imbalances, hypermobility, as well as disorders of the musculoskeletal system and injuries in artistic gymnasts, also the theoretical part of used kinesiotherapy methods. In the practical part, examining methods in physiotherapy and obtained data from research are described. The research was attended by 3 artistic gymnasts from Merkur České Budějovice, z.s. team and lasted in the range of 8 therapies. The research was carried out in the form of processing individual case reports, which include anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, proposal of short-term and long-term physiotherapy plan, course of each therapy and output kinesiological analysis. Based on the data obtained, a compensatory exercise was created and processed into a manual. The research showed that in selected gymnasts, disorders most often occurred in the area of the shoulder girdle, the transition of the thoracic and lumbar spine, the lumbar spine, in the area of the ankle joints, as well as the weakening of the deep stabilizing system. This work can be used in the practice of clinical and sports physiotherapists, or to expand the awareness of gymnastics coaches.

Diviš, Richard ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Vojta, Zdeněk (referee)
Title: The analysis of the preparation period in ice hockey players over 33 years of age Objectives: The main goal of the thesis was to analyze the development of the explosive strength and power in ice hockey players of 33 years of age during the preparation period. The diploma thesis summarizes the theoretical background of the chosen topic expanding it to the specific player groups. Additional goals of the empirical part included longitudinal analysis perpetrating to the results of the output motor tests, analysis of the effectivity of an intervention training plan applicable during the preparation period, evaluating output and input results of the motor test. Further goals integrated the comparisons of different level ice hockey players and the specifics of their preparation periods. Methods: The study included 3 participants, who contributed to the longitudinal study, which evaluated their motor skills and further participated in the experimental intervention training plan. The analysis of the explosive strength and power used standardized battery of measures. This battery included long jump, five two-footed jump, throw with a heavy ball (3kg) with an overstep and the back side of the thigh strength standing and sitting. The length was measured using the standard SI metric system. The current...
The most common injuries in basketball
Mocik, Antonín ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: The most common injuries in basketball Objectives The purpose of this thesis is to find out, by survey, which injuries are the most common among basketball players across various skill levels and age categories. At the same time, the purpose is to also find out the causes of these injuries, and whether or not rehabilitation was used during recovery. Methods: I gathered all the data necessary for this thesis via an unstandardized annonymous survey, which I administered to a study group. I analyzed the data that I collected through graphs and tables, and then I prepared the final analysis based on the results of the survey. Results: The conclusion of this thesis is based on the results of the survey. Based on the responses of the survey, I have come to the conclusion that the most common injuries occur in the lower limbs, especially in the knee and ankle joints, and specifically sprains. The cause of these injuries is the dynamic and aggresive movement of the game. Once fatique sets in, players overestimate their abilities, their coordination worsens, and they are at greater risk of these injuries. Title Ways to influence amateur s athletes postural stability Objectives The aim of this study is to describe the selected parameters of body composition and postural stability of the amateur s athletes (floorball players) group and to assess the efficiency of short-term intervention exercise based on senzomotor stimulation, acral coactivation therapy and plyometrics. Methods This work is a descriptive work, one part of it is the intervention. Two groups of amateur s athletes (floorball players) were examined during the study - intervention group(n = 16, average height = 178,23 cm (std 7,18), average weight = 80,04 (std 11,53), average age = 25,15 years (std3,31 )) and control group(n = 8, ave- rage height = 181,48 cm (std 5,59), average weight = 82,29 kg (std 11,20), average age = 27,07 let (2,68)). Each participant underwent the entrance measurement both on Footscan to evaluate the level of postural stability by selected parameters and on InBody 3.0 a Tanita to evaluate the level of body composition by selected parame- ters. Then the intervention group took part in the intervention exercise. After the six week intervention period underwent both groups the second measurement. The results of both measurements were evaluated, compared and statistically analyzed. Results The results showed great...

Soukupová, Nikola ; Prajerová, Květa (advisor) ; Nováková, Pavlína (referee)
Title: Compensation program for youth in ice hockey. Objectives: The main goal of this work is to compile and verify the effectiveness of the compansation program for ice hockey players in the older school age category. Methods: In our work, we used the empirical qualitative type of research of one 10 - member control group of ice hockey players of the same age group, aged 12-13, conceived as a quasi-experiment. The muscle imbalances are evaluated in the practical part. Based on the results of the input diagnostics of the postural and phasic muscles we built a compansation program containing a battery of exercises set up to relaase, stretch and strengthen the most problematic areas of the movement apparatus of ice hockey players. The results evaluate the effectiveness of the compensation program, which has been running for ten months. Results: The work proved the hypothesis that the compansation program works. The compansation excercises positively influence the muscle imbalances. The control group has achieved better results in output testing. Keywords: Muscle imbalance, ice hockey, testing, compensation exercises, older school age.
